In fact, we have moved into 2 new offices, one for our sales team and another for our property management/vacation rental team. Conveniently located right next to the main entrance, we are only a short walk or very short drive from downtown. Our business is booming, in both sales and rental activity, and the consensus is this is a continuing trend that has just begun. As everyone knows, timing is the most important element in real estate investing. Guess what...the time is NOW!!
In addition to several new developments in the local community in the restaurant, retail and commercial markets, we are also hearing about several projects that are on "the drawing board". Everything from the talk about the $50 million Marina to the McDonald's restaurant and 2 or 3 new boutique hotels. The International Airport in Liberia has experienced a HUGE increase in tourist traffic for the first 4 months of this year, growing over 30% from the same time period last year. As a result, there is an $11 million expansion project underway to accommodate this surge in traffic and to better handle the next wave of smiling tourists.
